This is a perfect example of how one of our murals can dramatically transform an otherwise unattractive space into a dynamic
environment ... a very cost-effective solution as well ! Several of the large-scale mural projects on this page were painted with
an associate, Gerry Houghton. We were able to complete this project in eleven days while the pool was closed for cleaning.

around the exterior of the building, all
taken from historical photos of the
neighbourhood from the local museum.

This was a very large heritage mural paying tribute to the orchard and fruit industry of the area. This commission was for the town of Summerland's 2006 Centennial. Again,
I researched the photos with help from the local museum staff for authenticity, even the "Spartan" apples which were developed at a local research station and Giant's Head
Mt. in the background are accurate.This mural took five weeks to complete.

Commissioned by the Summerland Museum to commemorate 200
years since the trail's first recorded use by European traders.
The north-south trade route, which runs right through town had
been used by the First Nations People for over 6,000 years.

tourist attraction for the South Okanagan
Valley.This scene depicts the original
station which was demolished years ago.

ended in the 1960's.

This mural was painted in two weeks while the pool was shut down for maintenance. The stylized design
depicts the confluence of the Quesnel and Fraser rivers and different species of fish in the area.
I incorporated the pattern of the concrete block wall into the background design to give it a "tiled" effect.

This wall was easily seen from the road. As per
the client's instructions we created a faux cargo
door and a 3-Dimensional feature (a real barrel)
to cover up an unsightly air-conditioning vent.
